Atmospheric trace gases
Many important air pollutants exist in fractions on the order of 1 part per billion (ppb) or lower. The development of rapid and sensitive analysis techniques for measurements of relevant atmospheric trace compounds is still a challenge. Our progress with infrared cavity leak-out spectroscopy enables a number of interesting applications regarding atmospheric pollution monitoring.
